<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing system for enabling reduction of a transfer size of an image while deterioration of image quality is suppressed and application of an image processing at an external device. <P>SOLUTION: A system transmits inputted color image data to an external device via a network and receives a result of an image processing performed in the external device. The system selects and transmits a color component signal required for a processing, a luminance signal and a color difference signal, for example, in accordance with the image processing performed at the external device. The color component signal which is not transmitted, the color difference signal and the luminance signal, for example, is kept and the signal is set to be a signal of the image processing result in response to the color component signal which is image-processed at the external device and the color component signal which is kept. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
