<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device configured to prevent toner from scattering to a non-image part. <P>SOLUTION: The developing device includes: an agitation chamber 420 for housing electrostatic charge image developer in which aeration flowability energy measured by a powder rheometer is 10-100 mJ, and agitating the electrostatic charge image developer housed therein; a mixing chamber 430 that agitates and mixes a part of the electrostatic charge image developer flowing from the agitation chamber 420 with supplement toner supplied from the outside, conveys the electrostatic charge image developer mixed with the supplement toner to the agitation chamber 420, and agitates and mixes the electrostatic charge image developer with the supplement toner with agitation power lower than that for agitating the electrostatic charge image developer in the agitation chamber 420; and a developing roll chamber having a developing roll for conveying the electrostatic charge image developer agitated in the agitation chamber 420 to a developing area for development. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
