<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator enabling cooling corresponding to a storage state of stored objects within the refrigerator. <P>SOLUTION: The refrigerator includes: light sources 20a, 20b installed within a storage compartment; an optical sensor 21 detecting irradiation light emitted from the light sources 20a, 20b; a calculation control part performing a calculation process on the basis of the detection result of the optical sensor 21; and a door opening/closing sensing part sensing opening/closing of a heat insulating door. The calculation control part starts control after the closing state of the heat insulating door is sensed by the door opening/closing sensing part and a predetermined time passes. Light receiving stability in the optical sensor 21 and accuracy of estimation of the storage amount in the calculation control part can be enhanced, to enable cooling corresponding to the storage state of the stored objects within the refrigerator or output control. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
