The invention relates to a rotary vane pump (1) comprising an inner chamber (2) delimited on one side by an end wall, in particular by a cover, a rotor (4) rotatably mounted in said inner chamber having a slot (6) running transverse to the rotary axis (5), a vane (7) displaceably mounted in the slot (6) of the rotor (4) and dividing the inner chamber (2) into two chambers (8, 9) and the longitudinal ends of said vane running along an internal circumferential track (10) of the inner chamber (2). According to the invention, the vane (7) comprises a guide contour (11) guided in a guide track (12) formed in the end wall (3), such that the vane (7) does not contact the inner circumferential track (10) of the inner chamber (2). A higher rotary speed and reduced wear can thereby be in particular achieved. |
