PURPOSE: An apparatus for removing carbon in the carbonizing chamber of a coke oven is provided to enhance the performance of removing carbon which adheres to the ceiling and the sidewall in the carbonizing chamber by vertically moving a carbon cutter by a determined distance when a pusher car ram moves backward and forward. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for removing carbon in the carbonizing chamber of a coke oven comprises a pusher car ram head(220), a variable device(300), a carbon cutter(50), a carbon cutter base(110), and a power transmission device(400). The pusher car ram head extrudes the coke in the coke oven. The variable device is located on the pusher car ram head and changes the location of the carbon cutter. The carbon cutter is integrated to a connection pin(120) which connects the ram head and removes carbon in the carbonizing chamber. The carbon cutter base is integrated to the connection pin and faces the carbon cutter. The power transmission device is transmitted from the variable device and raises the carbon cutter and the carbon cutter base. |
