<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ignition coil for an internal combustion engine capable of decreasing the number of assembly steps and components while down-sizing. <P>SOLUTION: An ignition coil 1 for an internal combustion engine includes a coil part 2 having a primary coil and a secondary coil, and a connector case 3. The primary coil is formed by winding a primary wire around the outer periphery of a primary spool 211 made of resin. The connector case 3 is provided with a terminal 4 consisting of a conductor placed from the inside of a fitting hole to a connector. An insertion slit 42 is formed in the insertion part 41 placed in the fitting hole of the terminal 4 in the fitting direction A of the coil part 2 and the connector case 3. End-of-winding 213 of the primary coil 21 is led out substantially in the winding direction B of the primary wire, and is inserted into the insertion slit 42 in the fitting direction A. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
