<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illumination unit which has a compact structure, can interpolate a lacking wavelength region of spectral distribution of LED and a light volume, maintains the required light volume upon color reading and monochromatic reading, gives the wide spectral distribution and can efficiently perform reading. <P>SOLUTION: An illumination unit includes: a light guide body 200 including a first light source (organic EL 201) and a second light source (LED 202), which have mutually different spectral distribution; a first light source arranging face for adjacently arranging the first light source made long in one direction; a second light source arranging face 204 which is a face that continues to an end in a longitudinal direction of the first light source arranging face and is vertical to the first light source arranging face and is for adjacently arranging the second light source; and a light emitting face 203 which is a rear face of the first light source arranging face and is for emitting light which is inputted from the first light source and the second light source and is internally diffused. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
