<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tsunami tide prevention system which solves problems in relocation to a hill and in construction of a huge tide embankment and is feasible. <P>SOLUTION: In a tsunami disaster prevention system comprising a tide embankment 10 constructed in an area along the coast of a seaside to protect the people living and buildings built in a low region of the seaside from tsunami, tsunami previous alarm means, an evacuation route, and a place of refuge, a pedestrian way or a drive way is provided on the top face of the top end 11 of a dam body of the tide embankment 10, and prevention fences 16, 17 for preventing the people and vehicles from falling are provided at both edge parts of the top end 11. The prevention fences 16, 17 are structured so as to prevent drifts which are floated and drift on a sea side region from flowing into a land side region at the time of attack by a tsunami with a height exceeding the top end height of the dam body while prevent drifts and persons which are floated and drift on the land side region from flowing into the sea side region at the time of tsunami undertow. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
