The present invention relates to a control apparatus and a control target apparatus, more specifically, to a control apparatus and a method for transmitting content information of the control target device. The method for transmitting content information according to one embodiment of the present invention in which a first server transmits content information stored in a second server to a control apparatus comprises the following steps: transmitting a first content information request signal to the second server; receiving the content information corresponding to the first content information request signal transmitted from the second server; receiving a second content information request signal transmitted from the control apparatus; and transmitting the content information which is transmitted from the second server and corresponds to the second content information request signal to the control device. The control target device according to one embodiment of the present invention can collect the information stored in a plurality of servers and provide the information to the control apparatus.
