The apparatus has a one-way valve (10) arranged between a pressure chamber (13) and a reservoir (15), which surrounds a cylinder (8). A spring element (3) i.e. spiral spring, runs into the reservoir. The spring element is enclosed starting from a support region by a sleeve (16) at a part (2) of the apparatus. The sleeve divides the reservoir radially into a reservoir part (17) lying on sides of the spring element and another reservoir part (18). Hydraulic medium is largely or completely supplied from the latter reservoir part to the chamber. The sleeve is designed as a deformation part. The part is designed as a pot-like housing.
