<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging body which can protect functional components accumulated at a front face side in a favorable condition while facilitating the removal of an accessory. <P>SOLUTION: A packaging body for an electric water heater includes a front face, side faces, and a rear face. The packaging body further includes a removal part from which an accessory of the electric water heater housed therein is removed from the outside while packaging the electric water heater, and the removal part is disposed at a face other than the front face.
