<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combination treatment for metabolic disorders. <P>SOLUTION: Various metabolic disorders, such as insulin resistance syndrome, diabetes, polycystic ovary syndrome, hyperlipidemia, fatty liver disease, cachexia, obesity, atherosclerosis and arteriosclerosis, can be treated with a compound selected from an incretin mimetic and a dipeptidyl peptidase IV inhibitor in combination with a compound of formula (I) wherein R<SP POS="POST">1</SP>, R<SP POS="POST">2</SP>, R<SP POS="POST">3</SP>, R<SP POS="POST">4</SP>and R<SP POS="POST">5</SP>are each selected from hydrogen, halo, hydroxy, methyl, ethyl, perfluoromethyl, methoxy, ethoxy, and perfluoromethoxy; and m is 0, 2 or 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
