PURPOSE: A drain trap for a sink is provided to ensure sealability by maintaining the airtightness between a bucket and a drainage basin and facilitate to firmly engage a coupling ring and a drainage basin. CONSTITUTION: A drain trap for a sink comprises a coupler(30), a ring-shaped airtight packing(34), a drainage basin(40), and a packing(50). The coupler is formed in between a coupling ring(20) and the drainage basin. The inner circumference of the coupler is equipped with a coupling protrusion(31) and the outer circumference is equipped with a fixing screw thread(32). The coupling protrusion is inserted into the hooking groove(21) of the coupling ring. The fixing screw thread is coupled with the drainage basin. An airtight packing is fitted to the outer circumferential front end of the coupler in touch with the coupling ring. The drainage basin is coupled to the fixing screw thread. The packing is coupled to the drainage basin and adheres to a bucket. |
