PURPOSE: A bank security card management method and a system thereof are provided to improve the stability of security card management by recognizing a security code from a security card image by using optical character recognition technology. CONSTITUTION: A storage part(2) stores data containing an image file of a bank security card and a security card pattern. A display part(3) displays many kinds of information. An input part(4) receives various data input from a user. A control part(1) manages the security card by being electrically connected with the storage part, display part, and input part. The control part recognizes security card texts from the image file of the bank security card through optical character recognition.
