PURPOSE: A tailgate lifter unit is provided to simultaneously optimize opening performance of the tailgate and to maintain a mounting point of a gas lifter in the normal direction of the tailgate. CONSTITUTION: A tailgate lifter unit comprises a mounting bracket(10), a moment cam(20), a ball joint(30), and a lifter(40). The mounting bracket is fixed to a rear side panel(2). The moment cam is pushed out by receiving a friction resistance reaction force from the mounting bracket. The ball joint is fixed to the moment cam and is pushed out with the moment cam in order to move a mounting point. The lifter is fixed to supply moment to a tailgate(1) and rotates the ball joint according to the opening or closing movement of the tailgate.
