The test vehicle 10 has running gear configured to permit the vehicle to run along the ground (17, figure 3), and the running gear comprises: a guide arrangement 27 configured for connection to a track 18 secured to the ground so as to vertically secure the vehicle to the track for movement along to the track; and a drive arrangement 26 having a motor arranged to drive the vehicle. The guide arrangement and the drive arrangement are interconnected via a biasing arrangement (19) which is configured to bias the drive arrangement 26 downwardly towards the ground. In a preferred arrangement, the biasing arrangement comprises at least one resiliently deformable biasing member 19. The resiliently deformable biasing member 19 may be provided in the form of an inflatable member forming part of an inflatable structure 14 of the vehicle chassis 11.
