Independent claims are also included for: (1) preparing the curing agent, comprising carrying out reductive alkylation of at least one primary amine with at least one carbonyl compound of formula (III) to obtain the amine having (I); (2) an epoxy resin composition comprising at least one epoxy resin and at least one above curing agent; (3) a cured composition obtained by curing the above epoxy resin composition; and (4) articles containing the above cured composition.
