A coordinate measuring machine includes: a probe (21) that has a contact point (211A) capable of movement within a predetermined range; a movement mechanism (22) for moving the probe (21); and a controller (5) for controlling the movement mechanism (22). The controller (5) has a measurement value calculating unit (53) for calculating a position of the contact point based on a displacement of the movement mechanism (22) and a displacement of the probe (21). The measurement value calculating unit (53) includes: a correction parameter calculator (531) for calculating a correction parameter for correcting the displacement of the probe based on a measurement condition in measuring an object; a corrector (532) for correcting the displacement of the probe based on the correction parameter; and a displacement synthesizing unit (533) that synthesizes the displacement of the movement mechanism and the displacement of the probe corrected by the corrector (532) to calculate the position of the contact point.
