PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of a thiourethane-based optical material is provided to obtain a high quality optical material which is transparent and is hard to be deformed. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of a thiourethane-based optical material comprises a step of molding a polymerizable composition which includes polythiol compound and a polyiso(thio)cyanate compound. Mixing, deaerating, and injecting into a mold, of the polymerization is conducted at 21-40°C. The polyiso(thio)cyanate compound is one or two or more mixtures selected from isophorone diisocyanate, dicyclohexylmethane-4,4-diisocyanate, hexamethylene diisocyanate, 1,3,5-tris(6-isocyanatohexyl)-[1,3,5]-triazinane-2,4,6-trione, o,m,p- xylene diisocyanate,α,α,α',α'-tetramethyl xylylene diisocyanate, and tolylene diisocyanate. |
