PURPOSE: A brake mechanism for a stroller, a wheel holding mechanism for the stroller, and the stroller are provided to stably maintain the restricted rotation state of wheels. CONSTITUTION: A brake mechanism(40) for a stroller comprises a body member(60), a sliding member(80), and a swing member(100). The sliding member slides in one direction of the body member and is positioned in one of a first holding position and a second holding position. The swing member is attached to the body member. The sliding member has an operation piece held on the swing member. The swing member comprises a first holding claw and a second holding claw. The first holding claw holds the operation piece of the sliding member when the sliding member slides from the second holding position to the first holding position. The second holding claw holds the operation piece of the sliding member when the sliding member slides from the first holding position to the second holding position.
