The dust collection device (104) has a tool body (103) and an auxiliary handle (110) attached removably to said tool body (103), is attached to an electric hammer (101) that, in the lengthwise direction, linearly operates a tool bit (119) mounted to the tip region of the tool body (103), and collects dust that the electric hammer (101) generates. The dust collection device (104) has a dust collection unit (141) that has a dust intake port (141a) at the tip; a dust collection hose (146) that is connected to the dust collection unit (141) and that is for transferring dust to the downstream side; and a hose-holding unit (147) that holds the dust collection hose (146). The hose-holding unit (147) can be attached to and removed from the auxiliary handle (110). |
