VESSEL CONNECTOR AND KIT HAVING AN APPLICATOR FOR SURGERY

The connector (10) has a sleeve-shaped body (1) with walls designed to be elastic, such that force acting on a ligature or suture is limited to the extent that no pressure points or necroses occur in a vessel. Two rigid outer rings (2) are provided for delimiting the body. Webs (3) are present between the rings. Regions of individual webs have a shape (4) deviating from a straight line over longer distances, and a ring-shaped region (5) of higher elasticity between the rings. An independent claim is also included for a kit consisting of a vessel connector and an applicator for surgically connecting two vessels and/or prosthetics.
