A spray booth comprising a workspace having a longitudinal axis and a substantially planar floor, a first end portion 102, an air input region 106 adjacent the first end portion for introduction of a uniform air flow 112, 113, 114 substantially parallel to the longitudinal axis, a second end portion 104 defining an air extraction aperture 120, 121, 122 for extracting air out of the workspace, wherein the second end portion / wall is at an angle which is not perpendicular to the floor. Ideally, several separate extraction apertures are provided, each with their own air suction unit, and every aperture preferably with an air filter 124, 125, 126. Desirably the ventilation apertures are stacked in a wall inclined to the floor, to speed up the air flow near the booth floor. Other independent claims relate to a controller and a method for controlling a spray booth, wherein airflow velocity, temperature and air flow distribution can be regulated. |
