PURPOSE: An image forming apparatus is provided to prevent the malfunction in the system reset in which is able to be occurred by a moment of the output power rise. CONSTITUTION: A primary side coil of a transformer(350) is connected to a primary circuit, and a secondary coil is connected to an output unit(380). The primary circuit comprises an AC voltage input unit(310), a filter unit(320), a rectifying circuit unit(330), a smoothing circuit unit(340), a switching unit(360), and a cut-out unit(370). The switching unit transmits the power source which is transformed by the winding ratio of the transformer to the secondary coil by being connected to the primary coil of the transformer and changing the power source. The cut-out unit blocks the driving power which is inputted to the switching unit, based on the supply status of the power source which is supplied to the image forming apparatus.
