摘要 An adjusting device for a rotary tool for machining bores has a holder 5 configured as a flexible spring and radially finely adjustable cutting plates 3. Cutting plate 3 can be radially deflected elastically relative to a support using a setscrew 8 having a pressure zone 18 on a conical threadless part 15. Pressure zone 18 forms a wedge pair with holder 5. Screw 8 is connected to a body 12 using a threaded pin 14 and has an annular or plate-like scale (21, Figure 1) with 25 to 60 graduation marks. A conical section (23, Figure 4a) of part 15 has a wedge angle of 4.5 to 24 degrees, preferably 5.17 degrees. The pitch of the threaded pin of the setscrew 8 is 0.1 mm to 0.3 mm, preferably 0.25 mm; and the radial adjustment range is 0.1 mm to 5 mm, preferably 0.25 mm. The device is purely mechanical, suitable for small bore hole diameters and improves readability, reliability and accuracy; sub-micron precision is possible.
