PURPOSE: An apparatus for removing the ashes of a hot dip galvanized steel sheet is provided to prevent the oxidizing action of the steel sheet due to wet nitrogen gas by spraying blocking gas to the steel sheet. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for removing the ashes of a hot dip galvanized steel sheet comprises a snout body(100), a guide hopper(200), a gas supply part(300), and a gas discharge part(400). The snout body has an opening(101). The guide hopper is installed inside the snout body to guide the steel sheet into a plating tub and has an inlet(210) facing the opening. The gas supply part is mounted on the guide hopper to spray gas to a steel sheet entrance position in the plating tub. The gas discharge part is mounted on the snout body to discharge the gas sprayed from the gas supply part.
