PURPOSE: An apparatus for automatically welding the vertical wall of a ship block is provided to reduce a welding time and to improve weldability by automating the welding of the vertical wall of the ship block. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for automatically welding the vertical wall of a ship block(20) comprises an automatic welding machine(10), a gas tank(12), a chain block device(13), and a fixing piece(17). The automatic welding machine comprises a magnet(11) so that a connection part can be welded in a state of being attached to the vertical wall of the ship block. The chain block device pulls up the gas tank by pulling down one side(15) of a chain in a state where the gas tank is fastened to the other side(14) of the chain. The fixing piece fixes the chain block device at the top of the ship block.
