A single layer fluid routing device (30) includes two channels with respective cross-section of aspect ratio. The second channel intersects with the first channel from a first point to a second point. The two points have different offsets relative to the cross-section of the first channel. Independent claims are also included for: (a) a fluid mixer (40) comprising a fluid routing, and fluid supply mechanism for supplying the fluids to be mixed and that is connected to the fluid routing device; and (b) routing of fluid in a single layer by providing a fluid in a first channel, passing a portion of the fluid from the first channel into a second channel, and moving the fluid through the second channel from the first point to the second point. |
