<p>The electrical frequency converter (20) has power converters (23,24) which are respectively connected to power supply system (21) and electrical drive (22). Each converter has series circuits (25) having modular switch (10) having sub-series circuit with controllable power semiconductor component (V1,V2) and diode (D1,D2). The connection point of the power semiconductor components and corresponding diodes form terminals (11,12) of the modular switch. The modular switch has capacitor (C) formed such that the capacitor and sub-series circuits are connected in parallel to each other. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) electrical converter; and (2) electrical network clutch converter.</p> |
