<p>The invention relates to a sealant composition, containing: A) 40 to 65 wt % of water, B) 10 to 30 wt % of at least one organic material which can swell in water, C) 0 to 30 wt % of at least one filler, D) 5 to 20 wt % of an inorganic salt, preferably a salt different from oxides or hydroxides, and E) 0 to 10 wt % of an additive selected from the group consisting of biocides, in particular fungicides, preservatives, antifreeze agents, anti-settling agents, anti-foaming agents and dyes, wherein the % by weight amounts are based on the total weight of the sealant composition and the components A), B), C), D) and E) are different from one another, provided that at a content of less than 10 wt % of component C) the weight ratio of component A) to component B) is less than 2.8:1.</p> |
