PURPOSE: A device for preventing webbing of a height adjusting device for a seat belt of a vehicle from locking is provided to gradually reduce a downward transfer speed of a lifting member in a non-contact method and to reduce noise and an end lock phenomenon by avoiding a sudden stop motion. CONSTITUTION: A device for preventing webbing of a height adjusting device for a seat belt of a vehicle from locking comprises a moving magnet(3) and a fixed magnet(5). The moving magnet is fixed to a lifting member(1) which vertically lifts with respect to the vehicle body. The fixed magnet generates a repulsive force with respect to the moving magnet when the lifting member descends at a fixed position with respect to the vehicle body.
