CURVATURE FIELD-BASED CORNER DETECTION

PURPOSE: A corner detecting method using image curvature space information is provided to skip an edge extraction process by detecting a corner point by using a maximum point and obtaining the curvature of a brightness image. CONSTITUTION: If two or more images photographed by a camera are inputted, direction information is extracted from a brightness image(S10). Adjacent two areas are selected according to the extracted direction information. Curvature is extracted by using a direction difference(S20). A final corner point is extracted by using a maximum point of the curvature(S30).
