A RED GINSENG USING MICROWAVE AND PROCESS FOR THEREOF

PURPOSE: Red ginseng using microwaves is provided to manufacture red ginseng containing prosapogenin component with high purity by microwave-radiating the red ginseng. CONSTITUTION: Red ginseng is treated with microwaves for 1-60 minutes by surrounding the red ginseng with wet woven fabric or nonwoven fabric; and a step of drying the microwave-treated red ginseng for 1-3 days in a vacuum dryer at 30-50°C. The comprised amount of a prosapogenin component is 0.01-0.60 weight%.
