PURPOSE: A gene sequence encoding a Bi-KTI(Kunitz-type serine protease inhibitor) from Bombus ignitus poison is provided to express a recombinant Bi-KTI with an antifibrinolytic function. CONSTITUTION: A polypeptide of a Bi-KTI contains an essential amino acid sequence in sequence number 1. A nucleic acid molecule encodes the polypeptide. The nucleic acid molecule contains a nucleotide sequence in sequence number 2. The nucleic acid molecule is cDNA. A recombinant Bi-KTI is expressed from insect baculovirus with the established polypeptide. An antifibrinolysin contains the Bi-KTI as a pharmaceutically active ingredient.
