PURPOSE: A current interrupting device is provided to maintain the sealing of a sealing member in spite of external force, thereby to prevent a thermal fuse from being rusted by electrolyte. CONSTITUTION: A current interrupting device(300) comprises: a thermal fuse(310); a pair of conductive plates(320, 330) connected to both ends of the thermal fuse; and a sealing member surrounding and sealing the thermal fuse. Each conductive plate comprises: bodies(320a, 330a); connecting parts(320c, 330c) connected to the thermal fuse; and modified induced parts(320b, 330b) between the bodies and the connection parts. The thickness of the connection parts and the modified induced parts is thinner than the thickness of the bodies, and the cross section of the modified induced parts is smaller than the cross section of the connection parts.
