Disclosed is the present invention directed to a process for manufacturing an electrode assembly, including: prior to assembling to electrode, bending a cathode, having an active material layer coated on one major surface of a current collector, and an anode, having an active material layer coated on one major surface of another current collector, in a zigzag fashion in vertical sections; and after the bending of the cathode and the anode, fitting the cathode and the anode to each other, such that the electrode active material layers face each other, while a separator is disposed between the cathode and the anode. |
