PURPOSE: A method for providing an insurance service to a credit card member store and a system thereof are provided to enhance marketing to a small credit card member store by providing an insurance service for the closure risk of the member store. CONSTITUTION: A VAN(Value Added Network) service provider(100) calculates the sales of a credit card company(200) of one or more credit cards used in a credit card member store(20) at every premium payment cycle. The VAN service provider determines allotments for the whole or a part of a premium for the credit card company according to the calculated sales. The VAN service provider transmits the premium from the credit card company to an insurance company(30).
