PURPOSE: A method for providing a user search service using an area name or an organization name is provided to search for a user based on a post corresponding to the area name or the organization name, thereby supplying a desired result. CONSTITUTION: A post which plays a role as a reference is registered corresponding to an area name or an organization name(S200). The area name or the organization name is received from a user terminal(S300). Position information is received from terminals of other users(S400). Other users located within searched distance based on the post are searched(S500). Positions of the searched users are transmitted to the user terminal and are displayed(S600).
