<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment method of contaminants by radioactive substances, capable of quickly and easily treating the contaminants by the radioactive substances existing in a large amount at a low cost, and preventing secondary contamination by the radioactive substances. <P>SOLUTION: Glassy volcanic rocks or glassy pyroclastic materials which are adsorbent raw materials are dried until a water content becomes 10 wt.% or less to attain an adsorbent, and the adsorbent is made to adsorb the radioactive substances from the contaminants to which the radioactive substances are stuck. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
