<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide equipment control system, a power management system, equipment control apparatus, and equipment control method, capable of achieving total energy saving of a building with a plurality of tenants in accordance with use conditions of each tenant. <P>SOLUTION: The equipment control system 1 controls the operation of a target apparatus 5 installed within each tenant 3 in the building 2 with the plurality of tenants 3. Specifically, the equipment control system 1 measures the power consumption of a target apparatus 4 installed in each tenant 3 by each power measuring instrument 6.
