<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens array capable of maintaining a depth of focus and a depth of field in a main scanning direction and a sub-scanning direction in an equivalent manner even when an object surface and an image surface deviate from design values, and further to provide an image forming device using the lens array. <P>SOLUTION: A lens array comprises: a first lens which is arranged in a direction perpendicular to an optical axis and has a plurality of lens elements condensing light made incident from an object point to an incident surface by an emitting surface; and a second lens which is formed in the same shape as the first lens, is arranged in the direction perpendicular to the optical axis in a state that the second lens is reversed by 180 degrees with respect to the first lens, has an incident surface disposed downstream an optical path of a position where the light is condensed by each of the plurality of lens elements disposed on the first lens and has a plurality of lens elements re-condensing light made incident to the incident surface by an emitting surface. The lens array is formed, when the light from the object point is made incident to the incident surface of the first lens and is emitted from the emitting surface of the second lens, such that a distance between two points where two emitting positions on the emitting surface of the second lens are positioned at outermost sides in a main scanning direction is substantially the same as that in a sub-scanning direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
