<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a building management system replacement method which allows reduction of down time of building management system while using an existing communication cable. <P>SOLUTION: The method includes: a new host computer temporal connection process for connecting a new host computer 12 to a communication cable 4 via a splitter 51 and a modem 52; a new local device temporal connection process for connecting a new local device 22 to the communication cable 4 via a splitter 61 and a modem 62; a building equipment connection destination change process fro separating building equipment 3 from an old local device 21 and connecting it to the new local device 22; a separation process for separating an old host computer 11 and the old local device 21 from the communication cable 4; a final connection process for separating the splitter 51, the modem 52, the splitter 61 and the modem 62 from the communication cable 4 and connecting the new host computer 12 and the new local device 22 to the communication cable 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
