SILVER PASTE COMPOSITION AND ELECTRODE USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A silver paste composition is provided to be sufficiently sintered in a conventional sintering process condition, thereby having excellent overlapping performance with a back side aluminum electrode, and reducing resistance and improving efficiency of a solar battery. CONSTITUTION: A silver paste composition comprises: 60-70 weight% of silver powder with an average particle diameter(D_50) of 1-3microns and a maximum particle diameter(D_max) of 4-6microns; 0.01-10 weight% of Bi2O3-SiO2-Al2O3-B2O3-R'O-R''2O-based glass frit; and 20-35.5 weight% of organic vehicle. In the Bi2O3-SiO2-Al2O3-B2O3-R'O-R''2O-based glass frit: R' is one or more selected from Ca, Zn, and Sr; and R'' is one or more selected from Li, Na, and K. The organic vehicle is mixed of 1-25 weight% of polymer resin and 75-99 weight% of organic solvent. The silver paste composition is for producing electrodes(40, 62) for solar cell devices.
