PURPOSE: A vehicle management system using a smart terminal and a method thereof are provided to supply a service for vehicle condition conformation, vehicle control, the confirmation of recorded videos to a user in a remote place. CONSTITUTION: A system is targeted for vehicles including a diagnosis terminal(106). The system includes the diagnosis terminal connected with electric devices(101,102,103,104,105), a wireless vehicle management terminal(107) wirelessly transmitting data and signals for the management and diagnosis of vehicle condition and delivering a use command to the electric devices, and a smart terminal(500) providing data collected from the wireless vehicle management terminal through a user interface and transmitting a user commend for the remote control of the vehicles.
