<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a taxi meter capable of shortening time for a crew who receives an allocation instruction to arrive at a destination. <P>SOLUTION: When pick-up information is received from an allocation management device 8, a taxi meter 3 compares pieces of GPS data on a place (destination) specified by a passenger and the current position of a vehicle, included in the pick-up information with each other. The taxi meter 3 calculates an angle in the destination direction to the travel direction of the vehicle, and displays a direction instruction display part 48 on a screen of a display part 32. When the direction of the destination is in a range within right and left 30 degrees to the travel direction of the vehicle to be represented by an arrow 52 in the direction instruction display part 48, an arrow 48a is displayed by lighting. When the direction of the destination is in a range within right and left 60 degrees, the arrow 48a is displayed by blink.
