OPTICAL FILM, PRODUCTION METHOD OF THE SAME, AND IMAGE DISPLAY DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical film showing excellent blocking resistance, pen-sliding resistance and conveyance scratch resistance even after a severe durability test and showing excellent adhesiveness even after a weather resistance test, and to provide an image display device including the optical film, the display device excellent in visibility without character blur or unevenness.

SOLUTION: The optical film has a functional layer containing an active ray-curable resin on both surfaces of a base film. The functional layer has projections having irregular shapes in a longitudinal direction of the optical film, in which a projection shape portion and a non-projection shape portion are in a continuous phase of a resin compatible with the active ray-curable resin.
