<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in which when brightness of the subject environment becomes low in the middle of continuous imaging, electric charge storage time required by a photometric element becomes long and continuous imaging speed suddenly decreases in continuous imaging. <P>SOLUTION: An imaging device comprises: an imaging element; a photometric element; a calculation part that calculates brightness of a subject on the basis of a photometric signal; and a control part that when the imaging element continuously outputs image signals and if photometry light-receiving time for which the photometric element receives a subject image and which is allocated between imaging light-receiving operations by the imaging element is shorter than an allowable light-receiving time preset corresponding to the brightness of the subject environment, performs an imaging light-receiving operation by applying the brightness of a subject calculated by the calculation part in advance. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
