<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink cartridge allowing the stable attachment of an electronic substrate and the reliable execution of high quality printing, and to provide an ink jet printer and a method of manufacturing the ink cartridge. <P>SOLUTION: The ink cartridge 1 mounted on the ink jet printer 10 includes an ink tank 2 containing ink, a holding member 3 attached to a side surface of the ink tank 2, and the electronic substrate 4 held by the holding member 3.
