<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an acoustic matching medium be surely present between a biological surface and an ultrasonic wave transmission/reception surface. <P>SOLUTION: By a hollow case 104, an acoustic matching medium 106 is held. To put it concretely, by a pair of hook members 126 inside the hollow case 104, both ends of the acoustic matching medium 106 are hooked and held. A lower side opening 100 is formed on the hollow case 104, and when a probe 19 is attached from the upper part, the intermediate part of the acoustic matching medium 106 is pushed in from the upper part by the transmission/reception surface 19A, and thus a swollen part 112 is generated. Since both ends of the acoustic matching medium 106 are positioned at an upper high position and the acoustic matching medium 106 is pushed in by the probe 19, tension is extremely increased on the surface of the swollen part 112, and the shape holding property is improved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
