<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve positioning accuracy of a measuring mechanism and to reduce burdens on a subject when performing ultrasonic diagnosing of a knee. <P>SOLUTION: A knee measuring system 10 includes a knee measuring apparatus 12 and a chair 14, and the knee measuring apparatus 12 includes an arm mechanism 20 and a measuring mechanism 18. The arm mechanism 20 suspends and holds the measuring mechanism 18, and in the stage where the position and the posture are established, the state can be fixedly held. The measuring mechanism 18 is positioned to the knee, and in a positioned state, the knee is pressed by a clamp mechanism provided in the measuring mechanism 18.
